Work with me

Inspire and entertain a group with one of my talks?

Through my guiding work which includes both formal lectures and in the field interpretation, as well as through my professional science communications and conference presentations, I have developed an informative and easy going, yet compelling presentation style. I have experience presenting to a wide range of audiences, including community, student and school groups both online and in person.

Topics I can talk about include:

  • Island Life – where life in Scilly is dictated by the weather and the tides
  • Living on South Georgia – a remote sub-Antarctic Isle with a whaling past, but now dedicated to science and eco-tourism.
  • Citizen Science – how you can connect and give back to the regions you explore
  • Seabirds – life on the ocean wave
  • Island Restoration – working to remove invasive mammalian predators to save our seabird heritage
  • Travels in Jordan (working at a Bedouin desert camp), Patagonia (life at a remote seaweed farm), Hawaii (saving the endemic honeycreepers) and Coober Pedy (opal mining and underground living)
  • Ocean currents and wildlife – migration patterns and the North Atlantic Drift

Please get in touch if you would like to book me for a talk or to discuss ideas for your event.
